The “Mountie Series” is a recent addition to my range. Think bright, fun and retro – with Mount Maunganui’s beautiful beach as inspiration. It’s probably little wonder my creative juices solidified to form three “retro, Mountie” hearts. Every summer my family jumps in our old 1967 Bedford bus – actually my old rural school bus – and heads to Mount Maunganui for a chunk of summer living in a seaside camping ground. The bus’ modified interior features splashes of Kiwiana, including a heart – from my “Mountie Series”, of course.
